Training is Time Well Spent

Make sure to have all personnel available and ready for review of safety, operation and maintenance requirements. 

Documented training is recommended. Always read operators manuals before putting any machine in service.

Steps Covered:

• Cover basic machine operation—lock out and tag out procedures. Start, stop and not-in-use.
• Demonstrate machine safety devices—and must not be bypassed under any circumstances.
• Show how to tie off a bale.
• Review general machine care and maintenance—for cleaning, visual inspections for any damage or issues.

Be sure to have your equipment regularly inspected to prevent and reduce occupational hazards.
